Who We Are

Good Earth Grease Haulers is a veggie car club for individuals using Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) to fuel their automobiles. Good Earth Grease Haulers originally began to help provide all requirements for the legal collection of WVO for personal use. Currently it is working solely to pass a bill that will reduce costs associated with collection of waste vegetable oil for individuals using it as a diesel alternative.

AB 1846 will reduce the cost of the Inedible Kitchen Grease Transporter License from $400 to $100!

The success of this bill will be completely dependent upon our efforts. Legislators will only respond positively if there is enough constituent support. That means we need you.

There are a few additional ways in which you can help:

1. Sign the petition: Make sure you sign the petition, but also send the link to all of your friends and family. http://www.petitiononline.com/biofuel1/petition.htm

2. Send us an e-mail requesting to be on the mailing list

3. Get endorsements from other organizations. If you belong to any organizations or know any organizations that you think would support this bill, ask them for a formal endorsement with a written letter of support. Let me know if you want an example letter.

4. Make phone calls and write letters: I will keep you updated with information regarding when the bill will be heard in committee and who needs to be contacted.

5. Get sponsors: Ask your State Assembly member and your State Senator to be a cosponsor of AB 1846. Find out who your representative in the Assembly is at http://www.assembly.ca.gov/defaulttext.asp and
